In September 1994 I has seen and photographed a UFO. Since that day I am a firm believer in extraterrestial beings.
This happened in Russia, on a road connecting St.Petersburg(Russia) and Tallinn (Estonia) about 40 km. from St.Petersburg. Time: probably 6-7 pm. Me and my wife were going to visit relatives and were driving in south-western direction (to Tallinn). While driving, I saw an object in the sky at about 11 o'clock and 45 degree angle from my point of view. It looked like a horizontal line, silver-bright yellow in color. The relative size of the object was about 2/3 of an inch. I didn't pay an attention to it as it might have been a helicopter (as the object was at the same spot for several minutes) but it was visible through the windshield all the time. Suddenly, the object turned 90 degrees and became a vertical line. There were a lot of blue, red and white slowly pulsating lights and then it silently disappeared. I knew that I saw something very strange. At that moment my wife pointed my attention to the right, where right above the tree line was moving another object. I stopped the car, took my camera and we came out. At that time I could see that the object was moving along the power lines. I knew that the lines come from the nuclear power plant which is located in the city of "Sosnovy Bor" about 30 miles from our stop. The power lines were crossing over the road about 1 km from us and the supporting poles are pretty high (not wooden poles). They carry a very high voltage current (600 V). I started shooting and made 4 shots. I could have made more pictures, but I was saving the film in case I will see anything else, besides the moving object. In the end the object simply disappeared. There were no clouds and the sky was blue, but the color of the object was lemon-yellow with a tint of silver. Anyway, I was exited to see the prints. To my surprise, I couldn't see anything there: just a blue sky and electrical lines. Only when I looked at the negatives themselves through the magnifying glass, I saw the object as a dark strip against the bright sky . The thumbnails are linked to much bigger images (about 100K each) - medium compressed JPGs, lightly compressed JPGs are about 800K as I used PhotoSmart scanner at 2400 dpi resolution for scanning.
