How to purchase items on sadcom.com


How the "shopping cart" works for you:

The order you are creating is not a binding contract. I will check the availability of selected items and will get back to you with a total cost (including shipping). The only reason that I don't use a commercial product is that I wanted to include pictures of all selected items on the final order page.
Buttons explained
Click here after all he items you want to buy from this page were selected.

To select an item for your order, check the box beside it. Select multiple items on any page, but don't forget to add them to your order before leaving that page. To do that, click the button on top of the page. Only after that, all selected items <AVAILABLE> will be added to your order.

The software will use the IP address of your computer to identify your order. During the checkout, your email address will be used as your order name, instead. So, if you don't go to checkout, your order will still be saved in the database under your IP address. Use the command: WINIPCFG to find out the IP address of your computer (on WIndows 95/98/Me) Enter the order name on this page to see what was on your order:

Confirmation window will pop up summurising the total for that page only. You can go to the checkout page from there, if you like.



Checkout page explained

This button is used to remove selected items from the order (if you changed your mind, that is). Please, note: if you added multiple amount of the same item, it will be zeroed.

In order for me to know who is placing the order, please, fill in all the customer information. Otherwise, your order will still be recorded, Bu I don't know who placed it and will delete it from the database in a few days. That will reverse the status of `RESERVED` items back to `AVAILABLE`. You don't have to do it, if you choose to pay online via www.PayPal.com.

Click that button when you are finished with your selection process. I will be notified about your order. The confirmation email will be sent to you too.

You can also use a link to PayPal.com to pay with a credit card. It is quick, safe and convenient. The shipping charge for insured USPS priority mail will be added to the total (unless you selected the other method of shipping). I will ship the order paid via PayPal the next day. First time PayPal.com users will get $5 bonuses. Please, mention slava@sadcom.com as a referral.

Shipping alternatives.
In the continental US the best price/value is provided by USPS. For $3.50 (flat rate) they will deliver a 2 lb. package in 2-3 days. Add $0.85 for insurance and/or $0.35 for delivery receipt. For international shipping the most affordable is shipping via small packet air mail. You may go to www.usps.com and check the price calculator for the exact pricing information for your country.

The 1st class mail usually costs $1.70 (several pins, a set of patches, etc.)

   
 
 
 


Exceptions

There are some pins (and watches) which you can't select using the "shopping cart". When pins are grouped together on plates you need to email me the pin numbers and page names for reservations.

Item status ?
On the pages, you will see the item status marked as "SOLD" or "RESERVED". This was updated before 11-15-2000 Since then, the status of the pin that you checked and want to add to your order will be retrived from the database and displayed in a confirmation page. Anyway, if it has already been marked as such, then it is "SOLD".
