The 'shopping cart' shall work now. It captures your IP address and uses it to identify the items that you add from different pages. Status of the items is tracked in the database. It will let you know the status when you try to add the item that has already been sold. Don't forget to push "Add to order" button which is placed atop of every page in order to add the selected items to your order. On the checkout page select the shipping method, enter your name, email and address and click "Send Order" button. Otherwise, use a link to PayPal.com to pay online with a credit card. In case of any problems, just send me an email to slava@sadcom.com or fill this contact form You are welcome to visit the redesigned part of my site on "Paitnings of Marina Olchevski" Russian books and fairy tales for children are now separate. The status of all the items sold after 11-13-00 will not be updated. Only when you add the item(s) to your order, the availability is checked against the database. Depending on the status, it will either be added to the order or will be shown as "Out of stock" or "Reserved" on the confirmation screen. Thank you for your patience. I will give you 5% discount when you encounter problems in using the 'shopping cart'. Just mention it in the "Comments" field on Checkout page, or send me an email. This discount have to be applied manually (I didn't built it into the cart). |

| Here is something different, though
painfully familiar. I have hundreds and hundreds of Lenin's famous profiles
displayed on pins and badges. These two are the first works of art. These
paintings are done in acrylic on linen canvas by the Artist Marina
Olchevskaia. Size: about 10 in x 10 in. This painting has been created by a Russian artist Marina Olchevskaia, who were very familiar with the subject. During her work as the illustrator/decorator at the Leningrad State University back in 1980s she created hundreds of political posters, wall newspapers and slogans. Some were several stores high, though this is about 10 in. by 10 in. in size. It is painted in acrylic on linen canvas. The style the painting was done reminds "Windows of ROSTA" of early 20s. |

pins The image is printed on a glass which is glued onto a plastic back. It looks like a solid metal though. It is not b&w image at that, the flatbad scanner was not able to correctly pass the colors: deep shades of blue, green, violet, red. The pins that have "perforated edge" and words "POCHTA CCCP" are exact replicas of Soviet post stamps of that time on space exploration theme. The pins are quite rare. Space 13 |

Finally, I found the time to post more pins from my collection online. This time I added 91 pin about Moscow: Red Square, Kremlin, burned Ostankino tower... This time I started making smaller index/navigational pages with 22-23 pins on them. (usually there were 40-60 pins). It should lessen the download time of the index page, though the thumbnails are small in size (4-5Kb) when you multiply by 50, it will give you a hefty file size...
