This set is the
"cheapest" both in price and quality from the 10oth birthday anniversary
commemorative series. And probably, with the biggest amount produced. It
commemorates the city named after Lenin and not the chief of the Revolution
himself. Here is what included in the set (from left to right):
-
"Copper Horseman" - monument to the tsar "Peter the Great" - founder of
St.Petersburg; - symbol of St.Petersburg/Leningrad - a golden ship placed
atop of a spear of Admiralty building over 200 years ago; - Monument to
Lenin standing on Moskovsky square in fron of the huge building of former
Moskovsky (region of Leningrad) regional Communist Party building; - Gate to
"Summer garden" - an outstanding piece of workmanship worth to be placed in
that commemorative set; - Monument to Alexander Pushkin, famous Russian poet
(!).
