These badges have not been pre-sorted, that is why I can't
name the selections other than: Page1, Page2, etc. There are approximately 25
badges per page. As usual, every thumbnail is linked to a large image. The
badges were scanned at 500 dpi (large ones - at 300 dpi.) resolution to bring
out the details !
Most of them are made of brass, enameled and have
screw type connectors on the back. These are not commemorative pins sold to the
public. They were manufactured for MVD and other respective agencies and were
handed out to the individuals and have very limited amounts. Quite often badges
do commemorate anniversaries of the establishment of those squads, agencies,
etc
. There are a number of Belarus and Ukranian badges.
Page
"New Speznaz 1" and "New Speznaz 2" are mostly Speznaz, Airborne and other
military.
NEW Pages #9 (mostly
MVD), #10 (assorted), #11 (GAI or Police patrool) and #12 (Military patrool)
are added on October 15th, 2001 |
