Russian watches are considered to be very reliable by watchmakers in the USA (I took Raketa watches to at least two shops myself for evaluation). The original designs of the Soviet watches will never be repeated. Military watches from "Vostok" can stand the water pressure from 66 ft. (class "A") to 667 ft. underwater (look for "C"-class).
