Blagoveschensk. Instituted on July 5, 1878. Description: "In a green shield a silver wavy belt accompanied with three gold eight-pointed stars in the top of a shield. The shield is crowned with ancient imperial crown and is surrounded with gold oak leaves, connected by Alexander tape". (Blazon of old Amur Oblast).
