Title: Series of memorials - "Green belt of glory" around Leningrad. That monument is on 41st kilometer from Leningrad near Ladoga lake. People were evacuated across the iced surface of Ladoga lake when Greman troops surrounded the city.
Short Info: Leningrad was awarded an order of "The Hero of the Soviet Union" for the city defence under siege of German troops in 1941-1944. The siege lasted 900 days. About 1.000.000 were killed, mostly civillians.
