
Title: Memorial "Kronshtadski" in Leningrad.
Short Info: Kronshtadt is a men-made island in the mouth of the Neva river,
about 10 miles into the Baltic sea. It is a naval fortress. Leningrad was
awarded an order of "The Hero of the Soviet Union" for the city
defence under siege of German troops in 1941-1944. The siege lasted 900 days.
About 1.000.000 were killed, mostly civillians.
