
Title: Memorial "Flower of Life" in Leningrad.
Short Info: Leningrad was awarded an order of "The Hero of the Soviet
Union" for the city defence under siege of German troops in 1941-1944. The
siege lasted 900 days. About 1.000.000 were killed, mostly civillians. People
were evacuated across the Ladoga lake along so called "Road of Life"
- the road made on the iced surface of the lake.
