Huge - from floor to the ceiling, occupying 3 walls of a bedroom, the painting attracts an immediate attention. Bright colors create a cheerful mood, various animals and lots of greenery give a countryside feeling. Marina's murals inspire creativity in children, enrich their imaginations and stimulate the minds. Based on characters and story from Russian fairy tales (see this part of my site), the wall painting turns an ordinary bedroom into a fantasy play room. To make the room look bigger Marina uses realistic approach which requires several planes: background, foreground and middle distance. To make the room look small other styles are used: fresco, colonial, modern.

This tree was painted in a narrow hallway and I was not able to make a single photo. This one consists of 3 images: leafage, trunk and a pot stitched together in a Photoshop. Ladies of America The newly opened gym "Ladies of America" commissioned Marina to create a wall painting for their playroom. Since the work needs to be done quickly, Marina involved a few friends. Lylia is on the right.
