Wall paintings range in price according to a variety of factors, including:

• size (one wall, whole room, etc.)
• complexity of design (how detailed is the picture)
• labor (time, effort)
• working environment (high ceiling, walls not prepped or damaged, etc.)

Price:
The price range averages: $10 per square foot - $30 per square foot

The price includes:

• initial consultation
• design conception
• sketches
• painting
• materials

Prices do not include:

• travel
• accommodations

Payment:
Most jobs require days or weeks to complete with a commensurate cost. Every mural is custom designed so prices vary depending on detail. The initial consultation is free. The artist begins by traveling to the site to discuss the details with the client on subject, content, style, desired effect, location etc. Photos and measurements of the area are taken. Next, an estimate is calculated, drawings are then created. Following the client's approval a full color study is made. Before beginning work, Marina makes a written contract with each client specifying the scope of the artwork commissioned and the total cost. Once the design has been finalized and agreed upon, painting begins. 50% is due at this time. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the work. At this stage, your imagination becomes reality.

Example:
An average child's bedroom is 12' x 12' with 8' ceiling height. This equals 96 square feet per wall and 528 square feet for the whole room.
One wall 96 sq/ft x $10 = $960
Whole room 528 sq/ft x $10 = $5280

Faux finishes range:
$150 per wall - $400 per wall

Hand painted furniture range:
$50 - $200 small (step stool, mirror, peg rack, lamp, etc.)
$200 - $500 medium (toy chest, side table, coat rack, activity table & chairs, etc.)
$500 & up large (headboard, dresser, armoire, etc.)
After the initial consultation, the customer is given a proposal. The proposal gives both the description of the project and the estimated total cost. Attached to the proposal will be the preliminary sketch (or sketches). You will be offered a copy of the contract to look over at this time as well. 50% of the total fee is due at the signing of the contract. The artist will sign the work and take photographs for the company’s portfolio. At this time, the remaining balance of 50% of the total cost is due. You will receive an invoice or record of the sale.
